ARIA Red Carpet: Reegan Style
So I thought I'd give the 2010 ARIA's a break down.... Reegan style!
So I rocked up not knowing what to expect with them being held at the Opera House and I think it would have sucked if the weather was bad, luckily, it wasn't.
Basically, this being my first red carpet, I was a little disappointed. It seems so fluid on the TV but when you're there, it's just a mess. Publicists running around letting you know that the talent are on the way and then they give you the little tap on the arm to let you know to wrap things up and people go back and forward on the carpet?!?!!?! I thought it was just a straight through walk down, most certainly not.
Anyway, being the man on the street that I am, I did catch up with some Radar artists.
One of the first people were Miami Horror and I asked them if they think they'll be here at this time next year for Illumination. Here's what they said:
Art vs Science were running around all over the shop. Someone had given them a bottle of champagne as an award for best song to sing in the shower but they had no idea what song it was for, anyway, I caught up with them to discuss when the album is coming and what's happening for Christmas.
Next up was Clare Bowditch and I tell ya what, for a mum, she's pretty hot. I brought up where the kids were and they're not where you think they'd be...
Now for a bit of spice, here's possibly the most boring interview I've ever done... Ladies and gentleman, Dan Sultan
Birds of Tokyo swung by our little cage and to be fair, I always thought Kenny intentionally dressed differently in Karnivool as opposed to BoT but apparently no....
Alllrriiigghhhtttyyyyy.... now for the conversation no one was expecting to happen, I played doctor while Sia spoke about where shes been for so long and hormone replacement therapy
The star of the night and possibly one of the best performances also was Megan Washington. Megan is just getting swamped everywhere she goes of late so when she came to chat to me, I thought I'd just pretend interview her so she could have a break but being the uber professional that she is, she flipped it and reversed it and interviewed ME.
(There's some things said here which may make you see me in a different light, just saying).
Anyway, that's just my little red carpet schpeel.
