Melbourne artist 360 (better known to his parents as Matt Colwell) released his debut album What You See Is What You Get in 2008, but he’s probably better known for swapping verses and vitriol as a battle MC here and overseas.
In addition to collaborating with fellow Melbourne rapper and Soulmate Records labelmate Pez (as duo Forthwrite and on Pez’s summer anthem ‘The Festival Song’) and launching online rapper tags (visit www.rappertag.com), the “indie rapper” has been crafting his second longplayer, Falling & Flying, an album that fuses hip hop with electro, glitch, pop and anything else he can get his hands on.
Pez returns the favour on 360’s first single / party anthem 'Just Got Started', but Mr Colwell says that’s just the tip of the iceberg coming our way on the record. “This album takes a few turns. It goes from poppy electro, to grunge electro, to jams with a live band, to dancehall and back again.”
